ORGANIZATION HISTORY

Formerly known as UP Social Dance Club, the Executive Committee proposed to create an organization that will offer more people who want to engage in dancesport especially in ballroom dancing. Thus in June 25, 2005, with Melanie Llarena Austria as the presiding chairperson, they established, UP Organization of Dancesport Enthusiasts an association that would engage in learning and promoting the aesthetics and discipline of dancesport and offer ballroom dancing services.

This Organization becomes the venue for people who want to train in the art of ballroom dancing to produce excellent dancers that will be impart into different activities, concerts, events and competitions like showdance and dancesport.

The founding Executive Committee of the Organization are:

External Affairs Committee Head: Melvin Arcos Villar
Training Committee Head: Tristan Valderamos Gomez
